They say it’s a “road for God.”
But God doesn’t bulldoze national parks.
God doesn’t bypass tribal opposition.
God doesn’t privatize sovereignty.
Let’s call it what it is.

What looks like land is a listening post.

The Ambler Road proposal — rejected by locals, tribes, and courts — is now revived by executive order.
The reason? “Critical minerals.” The reality? Speculative at best.
The road cuts through Gates of the Arctic, 11 major rivers, and sacred caribou migration grounds.
Locals call it theft. We call it the faint edge of empire.
And now — they’re saying the road is for God.
