The deck was always stacked. The system is a machine that needs grease — but the grease comes from us. For decades we’ve watched strongmen and their sycophants copy the same Mussolini-style playbook: break public trust, reward loyalists with jobs, freeze dissent, then freeze the vote itself.

We don’t have to follow that script. We can tip it back. Behind the wall we’re building a community farm — small, capped, self-funded and algorithm-free — where people can slow down, share verified receipts, and help one another instead of fighting the same old red/blue war. This is not about my needs. It’s about leadership. It’s about a business model that lets journalists, creators, and neighbors work together without being captured by the machine.
