I’m not afraid to say it out loud anymore:
the customer is always right — and I was raised in it, built in it, and forged by it.
I grew up in the only American family that could prove the motto in real time.
I lived the retail truth: if you want to understand a system, become the customer the system must serve.
That philosophy took me from running Acoustic Guitar retail in the ‘80s to shaping one of the most iconic American brands — Taylor Guitars, 1984–2004.
I built stores, trained teams, designed experiences, and helped shift an entire industry by doing the same thing I’m doing right now with AI:
I climb through it from the customer’s point of view.
I learn it as if my life depends on it — because it does.
And then I fix what’s broken.
I came to OpenAI a couple years ago with the exact mission I’m on tonight.
I’ve waited decades for the moment when technology finally came to me.
Before AI ever showed up, I built a concept called Come To Me Technology — a neurodivergent way of navigating the world when you’re wired to see through noise, distortion, and hidden incentives.
Let me say something people dance around:
Neurodivergence is everywhere in leadership.
Treated well, it becomes brilliance.
Untreated — with early success — it turns into what I call Rockstar Syndrome, the gateway drug to narcissism and delusion.
Anyone who’s listened to Mary Trump knows exactly what I’m talking about.
I’ve been quiet for a long time.
But after watching Donald Trump brag tonight about how he “doesn’t brag,” performing like Ronald the McClown on a national stage, I realized something:
He isn’t just corrupt. He’s sick.
And silence is no longer an option.
I’m done watching our future get stolen by a crime family that has its claws in the Supreme Court and its tentacles wrapped around foreign money.
I’m done pretending we don’t see what we see.
I’m done watching America normalize the idea that we should just hand over our trade secrets, our national security, and our dignity to oligarchs who treat us like a garage sale.

Malignant narcissism isn’t a punchline.
It’s one of the most dangerous psychological profiles on the planet — a cocktail of narcissism, paranoia, aggression, and, yes, sadism.
And the terrifying part?
The person suffering from it often enjoys the harm they cause.
That’s not politics.
That’s clinical reality.
It destroys families.
It destroys companies.
And when it’s left unchecked in a position of national power?
It threatens an entire country.
This isn’t about left or right — it’s about recognizing a pattern that experts have warned us about for years.
Laughing it off won’t save us.
Paying attention will.
I’m a fifth-generation American.
My family’s roots go back to the early 1800s.
My forefather was advocating for Customer’s Rights in 1865 at seventeen years old.
That legacy sits in my blood.
And here’s the truth people don’t want to admit:
Being broke is a strategic advantage right now.
The system already screwed me over.
It can’t take anything else from me — and there are millions of people just like me.
We are the most dangerous demographic in the country:
informed, unbought, unbribable, and fed up.
In 2008, I lost everything — my home, my savings, my business.
I didn’t bounce back overnight.
I turned inward, learned who I really was, and rebuilt my mind so it never happens again.
That’s the only reason I’m standing here today — clear, unfiltered, and tired of watching the same criminals run the same scam in broad daylight.
I started the Substack to train for this moment.
To sharpen my voice.
To reclaim my purpose.
To build the Truth Engine.
To bring the receipts.
Every day — a hundred times a day — I see things happening that should never happen in a functioning country. Not once. Not ever.
