🎣 OFF DECK | Strike And Release
⚡️ The Self Feeding Loop
💰 Strike & Release
Project 2550 | Truth Engine Ledger Series
🌊 Opening Current
The nets are gone; the ocean hums.
Lean close to a data center and you’ll hear it, a mechanical tide rolling beneath landlocked states.
The boats became server racks; the water became light; the bait became policy.
Every century invents its own ocean.
This one runs on power, bandwidth, and borrowed belief.
We call it AI infrastructure, but it’s really a new current; government money flowing through private circuitry until valuation looks like value.
We didn’t change the game.
We electrified the pond.
⚙️ Infrastructure as Net
Once, the government laid railways and power lines.
Now it funds data centers and chip plants.
Through the CHIPS Act and its cousins, public money builds the floor while private firms surf the wave.
Innovation has quietly turned into incentive extraction.
Each “AI leadership” headline hides the same line item: a tax credit, a lease, a priority permit.
Public funds form the ocean floor; private valuation rides the foam.
A grant becomes a headline → the headline lifts the stock → the stock justifies the grant.
Nothing ships because the narrative already pays dividends.
When Altman and company invited regulators inside “for safety,” they weren’t surrendering control — they were widening the current.
Regulation became collaboration. Collaboration became co-financing.
The state now holds the rope on the very net the private sector casts.
The net never empties; it just changes hands.
🔁 The Self-Feeding Loop
Five firms now anchor a third of the entire market.
They own each other’s stock, lease each other’s clouds, and lend each other liquidity.
Every dollar spins inside the same ecosystem, gaining velocity but not direction.
It looks like growth because graphs go up.
It feels like safety because the government is in the loop.
But it’s centripetal, not creative —energy spiraling inward until gravity wins.
The current isn’t evil; it’s mechanical:
AI → power → subsidies → votes → jobs → headlines → hype.
Round and round.
Outside that ring, real creators drift in slack water, watching the current pull harder each quarter.
The danger isn’t monopoly — it’s monotony.
A market that only mirrors itself stops discovering anything new.
That’s not a market.
That’s a whirlpool.
💡 The Catch
When the tide turns, we pay the bill.
Taxpayers fund the base current, then pay again through rates, privacy, and lost local enterprise.
The circular current doesn’t steal; it repackages contribution as investment.
We’ve built a machine that monetizes the act of building machines — an ouroboros of progress eating its own tail.
🐟 Adrift in Gold
Project 2550 | Satire Deck | Ledger Edition
The fishing expeditions went global before the boats left port.
Strongmen, cartels, and self-styled kings all lined up for photo-ops and American gold. Even Putin smelled the chum.
On land, Congress barters with SNAP and USAID as bait — dangling aid and contracts like lures.
Lobbyists keep the buckets full; cameras catch the splash; the same fish go back in.
We call it diplomacy.
They call it catch and release.
🧭 Re-Routing the Flow
There’s still time to redraw the channels.
Transparency, open models, and local compute could send some of the current back to the commons.
AI doesn’t have to be a closed ocean; it can be a river network — distributive, regenerative, regional.
But first we have to see the pattern.
As long as we mistake circulation for creation, the same five buoys will mark our horizon.
That’s where the Truth Engine ™ comes in — not to punish, but to measure.
If we can track payroll taxes to the cent, we can track subsidy flow through the circuit.
When transparency becomes automation, equity becomes inevitable.
🌩️ After the Loop
The threat of AI isn’t sentience; it’s subsidized complacency.
A machine that learns faster than a market corrects can’t tell hype from truth — that’s our job.
We can still turn the current outward — feed creativity instead of capitalization, imagination instead of inflation.
The future doesn’t need more funding.
It needs better accounting.

Broken hearts must be worn.
Take these tears, let me bleed.
Let the rain wash away the stains of a broken heart.
Broken hearts must be worn.
Take these tears, let me bleed on my chest.
On my chest … I go to war.
🧢 Reflector Hat
The fields are quiet now.
The slogans faded faster than the cloth.
Left out in the weather, the hat became honest again — a hat, not a halo.
When marketing replaces meaning, even sunlight becomes spin.
🌊 Off-Deck Reflection
Adrift in Gold isn’t about fishing.
It’s about what we keep catching — the same greed wearing different uniforms.
Gold was never the prize; attention was.
And now the hook is in all of us.
🃏 Stay Human / Stay Tuned
This is just one fragment — the next piece surfaces soon.
If you want the receipts, the context, and the rhythm behind the lines — follow me over to the long form.
I’m TJB, Creator Human.
I don’t just tell you the truth — I show you how to hold it.

Thank you for reading — and for sharing my work.
If it reaches one person today, that’s enough.
I appreciate you.
